LIMS – HOW TO CHOOSE

Each prospective LIMS student will be able to make 2 initial choices. 

1. The Career Path
2. The Track Choice within the chosen Career

A more detailed explanation is as follows:

The LIMS instruction program is divided into 7 “Career” paths for a student to choose.

1. Production Department Career
2. Art Department Career
3. Hair and Make-up
4. Warbrobe Deaprtment
5. Camera, Light and Grip Department Career
6. Sound Department Career
7. Editorial Department Career

Within each Career path, there are various Tracks to choose from.  Each Track represents a type of job within the production.  Students may learn multiple skills within their chosen Track, and once the Track is completed, their expertise will determine the particular job that they will be qualified for.

For students who choose computer based careers, there will be “Basic Computing Tutorial” classes available if needed.
